When I tested my water, I tested for Carbonate, Chloride, Chromate, Iron,Lead, Phosphate, and Sulfate.When we tested the water fountain, everything came out negative. I was surprised because the water in the fountain is usually cloudy and tastes weird. The other sample was from my water at my house. It has been a pinkish purple for a couple of days, so i decided to bring it in. I thought the water would have some type of pollutant in it because it always looks/taste weird. It was also purple a lot so i wanted to know why. After i tested the water, everything came back negative. I was kind of happy because now i know it won't kill me. So now i can drink my water without being threatened by chemicals. Above is a picture of our well and on the right is the water we tested, which is safe and clear.
The Chromium used in the movie was called Hexavalent Chromium and Chromium 3. The Chromium 6 is the bad one and Chromium 3 is the good one. Chromium 6 has cancer causing agents. Chromium 3 is a nutrionally essential in humans and is ofter added to vitamins for a dietary supplement. Health effects from Chromium 6 can casue stomach pains, ulcers, convulsions, and kidney and liver damage. Chromium 3 can cause instant skin rashes.
